I’ve been using the “more private than facebook” social network Path on my phone recently.  It’s essentially a mininetwork-slash-daybook that you allow a small number of people to see.  Right now I’m connected to Phil Nelson, Warren Ellis, internet friend Caseman, and my once and future meatfriend Elspeth.  I’ve also turned down a few invitations from names I recognize from Sweatshop or Tumblr, because I didn’t know them well enough.  I like that.
