More stuff based on the Charleston Spacewalk series, with their original photos.

A few years ago I was living in a one-room studio apartment in Seattle.  It was 3 in the morning, I was bored, I had a decent camera and I had been designing Abney Park stage costumes for myself and the other members of the band.  All dressed up with nowhere to go, I took a series of self-portraits that I called the “Charleston Spacewalk” series.  I believe I posted them initially on MySpace and Livejournal, to no particular fanfare.

Although my “”“”“”modeling career”“”“” has produced hundreds or thousands of images of me so far, images that have gone everywhere and done everything, many of which were not authorized, I don’t remember and/or haven’t seen, this particular set is one of the most widely-traded.  It crops up in fan art, derivative works, or is posted alone, without comment more often than any other pictures of me with the possible exception of WoodEye’s “Lolita” series.

These are just the ones I’ve found.  There are certainly others.

edit: just to be clear, i find fanart to be charming and flattering.  i’m not shame-posting these, i just thought it would be neat to post the original with all its derivative works in one place!

i like modeling for costumed drawing classes because if i show up in “Siberian Bond Girl” then that’s what they have to draw.
